Hoop System Building Covers
Our hoop buildings are covered with a polyethylene cover. Polyethylene tarps have many advantages over traditional canvas because they last much longer and are lighter in weight.
Poly covers are used on all brands of hoop buildings now days. The only difference is the weight of the poly. Most of our covers are 10 oz. to 12.5 oz. depending upon the color choice.
Polyethylene fabric is resistant to tearing and to climate extremes including ultraviolet sunlight exposure. It is moisture proof, and is impervious to rot, mildew and most chemicals.
Our covers are woven from oriented strands of polyethylene film (tapes) then finished with transparent or color coatings on both sides. The middle layer can be either regular weave which is light blocking or natural weave which allows natural light to come through.
Both the outside and inside layers of the fabric come in your choice of several colors and color combinations as well as clear.

We recommend a natural weave fabric for most livestock uses as critters tend to thrive with a little light. For a greenhouse, you'd want a translucent cover. Other than those hints, most of your color choice is up to you. Take a look around our site and view some of the nice combinations our customers have chosen in the past.
Except for translucent greenhouse covers, our tarps have a 15-year pro-rata warranty. This is a declining coverage type warranty. In other words, your cover is 100% guaranteed the first year, 95% the next year and so forth. We fully expect, however, that, if you perform the minimal maintenance required to keep the cover ratcheted down securely, the cover will outlast the warranty period.
We have custom cover options such as fire retardant hoop building covers and other special weights tarps available. Our covers are also available with roof vents which improve circulation and are a good choice in livestock buildings.
